When Remote Online Notarization May Not Be the Best Fit

There are times when an in‑person or mobile notarization may still be better, such as:

  • When a lender, title company, or court requires a traditional, in‑person signing

  • When a signer has trouble using technology or does not have a reliable internet connection

  • When multiple people need to sign in the same place and prefer a face‑to‑face meeting
